wearing chris duncan art–sort of

Chris Duncan is an artist you need to know about if you love colors, shapes, and patterns. In an interview with IN THE MAKE blog, he says that one of his inspirations is looking at quilts and what his daughter thinks of them. That means fabric!

We aren’t his daughter, but we are his fans. In terms of our fabric collection, this is what we see from his art work. Lots of dots in the image above that could look as tiny as atoms. You could easily lose yourself inside this piece of art. They look like sprinkles too! Below are some of our dot fabrics.

If you look at the one below in a wide point of view, rather than focusing on each shape and color and direction, it can look like a geometrical multicolor rose. It’s pointy and stiff like origami. However, this shape and the range of colors is somewhat similar to the confett fabric.
