How To Get to Know Your Campus

by

We challenge you to get the list that will lay the groundwork for your campus takeover.

There is no better way to engage with the student body and get the most out of your undergraduate experience than by getting to know the student organizations on campus.  These are the groups that make up your market, they’re thirsty for you to design them something amazing and aching to give you the chance to sharpen your sales skills.

Almost every campus has a master list, some central database that shares all the official groups and teams on campus and often even shows how to reach them.  This week we challenge you to find that list and start to contact the groups and teams you will target when you get on campus.

Here’s a few pro tips:

1) Let Google do the work. Search “[school name] student organizations” and find the online list of all student groups
2) Copy & Paste Or Print it out.
3) In one color, highlight the ones you personally know, have friends in or want to know.
4) In a different color, highlight the big ones – the more people in the group, the easier it will be to meet someone that’s part of it and the larger their order will be.
5) Come up with a plan to get in touch with all the groups you can and share a tee shirt design idea with them.

Remember, they need your help to create fresh hot awesomeness this semester. They can’t do it without you. Email, call, twitter, knock on doors. Stop at nothing to save your campus from the same old ish.

Let us know when you’ve found your list by posting a comment to the Apliiq Campus Facebook group and sharing your first target group!
