With the rise of Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky, the East and West rap scenes are getting some dope music out of their hip hop representatives. Not to be out done, a young phenom is rising out of Brooklyn, New York. At the young age of 18, Joey Bada$$ has channeled the Hip Hop Gods of old and stylized himself after the lyric centric raps of the 90’s. With the release of his first Mixtape 1999 and just announcing the release of his next album, B4.DA.$$ Joey Bada$$ is coming up in the world. Not only has he exceeded in the rap game, but he has his hands in fashion as well being named the Creative Director of Ecko Clothing.
