Social media is crucial to building your brand. Whatever you’re selling or offering, promotion via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and other social sites is often essential in reaching your audience, getting feedback on new and existing products and building your customer base. Establishing an effective social media strategy is an important early step in developing your brand and knowing how to create a post that gets shared and commented on is a major part of the equation.
This week we challenge you to do just that. Post something on your social media that grabs attention. It doesn’t have to be about Apliiq or your brand, but extra points if it is. It just has to build buzz. Here’s a few ways to create a successful post:
- Share something that is relevant to your audience and incorporate your perspective as commentary with the intention that others add their perspective, share or comment
- Ask a question that will guarantee responses
- Post a photograph or funny image that people will feel compelled to share
Your goal is to hook your audience and garner shares and comments. Ask questions, engage, don’t just post statements, build connection with your posts.
